As a Mac user accustomed to attractive, well-designed software, you'll appreciate Patina's appealing interface and user-friendly design.
Easy Drawing Step By Step For PC can be easily installed and used on a desktop computer or laptop running Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and a Macbook, iMac running Mac OS X. This will be done using an Android emulator. Patina ® is the highest rated Microsoft ® Paint replacement app in the Mac App Store. Patina is great for a wide variety of work and personal needs, including sketching an idea, drawing a diagram, illustrating a concept, or painting a picture.
Unlike most other Paint-like apps that are derivations of an open source program, Patina was designed and built from scratch in the US with great care to be as easy to use as possible. We're confident that you'll find Patina to be the best simple painting, drawing, and sketching app in the Mac App Store.
Patina was recently updated with some great enhancements, including two new types of arrow tools and line tools, more control over fixed degree increments for rotation of shapes and selections, improved eye dropper color sampling, an optional checkerboard transparent canvas, the capability to open/import PSD (with non-layered view), PDF, AI, and PS files, user-configurable DPI settings, and full macOS Sierra compatibility. Note: Patina is not a vector app, does not have layers, and does not allow you to manipulate already drawn objects in the same way that you can in a layout app like Pages or a presentation app like Keynote or PowerPoint. The Patina Story In response to the often heard remark 'I love my Mac, but I wish it had something like Paint,' we evaluated currently available drawing apps for Mac. We found many complicated apps for doing sophisticated illustrations, but we did not find any apps for doing simple drawings and sketches that we felt were truly excellent. Many of the more simple apps we found were based on the Paintbrush open source code, which is not a very appealing replacement for Paint.
With the realization that there was no currently existing app that could satisfactorily fulfill the role of 'Paint for Mac', our team in California and Washington set out to develop a simple drawing app from scratch that would delight Mac users. We didn't want to rush Patina to market, and we knew it couldn't be hacked together in a fortnight, but the journey ended up being longer than anticipated.
More than a year of hard work went into making sure the app was up to the standard that Mac users should expect in terms of visual appeal, user-friendliness, performance, and quality. Throughout the development process, we adhered to a very thorough testing process, and we only launched Patina once we were confident that most major bugs were already found and eliminated. Please let us know how we did.
If you like Patina, reviews in the Mac App Store are much appreciated. If you found a bug or encountered any other problems, please give us a shout at.

EazyDraw is a productivity tool for the expression and transmission of knowledge. Words alone are rarely adequate to communicate Information, concepts and ideas. Amplify the expression of your creativity with integrated text, symbols and diagrams. EazyDraw provides a balanced feature set that includes tools needed for technical drawing, web and App graphic design, print publishing, logos, page - text layout and more. Easy enough for everyone but with the depth your project will need.
Includes comprehensive support for bitmap and vector graphic formats: Import and ungroup for edit PDF, and EPS. Import and export SVG and now DXF.
Preview and publish to EPS and TIFF with RGB or CMYK process colors. Exchange scaled CAD drawings using DXF. Preview and publish wide gamut colors for web graphics. Create macOS, iOS, and watchOS app development graphics with Display P3 colors.
EazyDraw provides full native support for SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) file format. With EazyDraw you may import and edit SVG, EPS, and PDF vector drawings. Export formats include: SVG, PDF, EPS, JPG, TIF, Favicon, Keynote and others. Wide color gamut enhances the visual experience on compatible displays. Newer Macs (powerBooks, and iMacs late 2015 and newer) have displays that provide P3 Colors.
The P3 color space has a much wider color gamut than sRGB. Simple terms: colors can be brighter on a P3 screen. Actually there are two requirements to see these brighter colors, the App must support and present P3 colors and the display must be a P3 display.
EazyDraw 9 is now fully color managed and supports P3 colors on P3 screens. EazyDraw 9 delivers bright sRGB colors on screens that are non-P3. For everyday use this is all automatic, on newer iMacs and PowerBooks the colors will simply look better. Mojave release with support for dynamic light and dark mode user interface.
Stay focused and productive under both light and dark ambient conditions. Change between light and dark modes on the fly, no need to quit and restart EazyDraw. Major update of the user interface, more pleasing to the eye. UI graphics and design colors are catalogue associated with your hardware and system settings, including the selected Accent color. Design App and web graphics to pop with bright vivid colors. This version of EazyDraw provides color managed authoring.
Create content with expanded dynamic range colors, including Display P3. Check out the Layers inspector to make use of this capability. 3.10.9 Jul 31, 2018.

TLLS, So-called Update DOWNGRADES the app. The update changes the EasyDraw you paid for to a freebie-type 'Basic Level', meaning you can no longer create layers (and who knows what other basic functions you had already paid for). Yes, you get support for dark mode and more advance screens (which you may or may not have), but in exchange for that you have to pay $95 for the full non-subscription app you had already paid for! That's a reprehensible and greedy stunt. If the change was due to Apple requiring an update to 64-bit, and we were given the option, I probably would have gone ahead and paid.
But this doesn't appear to be 64-bit related, and we were NOT given the option. Instead, the publisher, Dekorra Optics, decided to cripple the app in order to force us to pay again for an app we had already paid for, without even the offer of a discount for current users. I've used EazyDraw for years, and it will be a major pain to learn another vector graphics program, but I'm not going to reward this devious behavior. We can't trust them not to pull this stunt again.

I don't see that mentioned anywhere in the update information. This is just an ok convenint app but worth $50.00.
Especially when they try to trick you into upgrading so folks are needlessly stressed out. I am really tired of these sleeze ball tactics and the internet is the breeding ground for this trickey, 'gotcha bull s%.t. So if you want to cntinue with this app for free do not update. Tahoerob, 5 stars for features, but far too many bugs for a version 3 application I've been using EazyDraw for small projects, mostly scaled floorplans, for several years now. It's always been a 5 star program as far as features go. It pretty much does everything one could want in a consumer level drawing application.
It's very fairly priced and seems to be well supported. Unfortunately, it's got a lot of bugs and odd behaviors.
I think the developer is more interested in adding features than really polishing the app. That's my opinion as someone who has watched it since early 2.0.
The menus are rather overwhelming and poorly organized. Too many palettes in my opinion.
Object selection is an excercise in frustration. Clicking directly on a filled object often results in EazyDraw selecting the object underneath, the one next to it, etc. Forget command-clicking for multiple selection. You'll never get everything you want selected and EazyDraw will select all sorts of objects you didn't want. It's mind-numbing. If you need a full featured drawing program and don't want to fork out hundreds of dollars for a pro-level product, EazyDraw is a great choice.
Just go into your purchase knowing that it has its drawbacks and bugs.
